Chamoli district mein 4,329 m altitude par sthit Hemkund Sahib Sikh community ka pavitra tirtha hai. 10th Guru Gobind Singh Ji ne yahan previous life mein meditation ki thi. Manmade glacial lake ke shores par Gurudwara constructed 1936.

Full Journey from Delhi/Rishikesh

Day 1: Rishikesh to Govindghat (290 km drive)

10 hours. Overnight Govindghat.

Day 2: Govindghat to Ghangaria (13 km trek)

6-7 hours. Heli option Rs 3,500-5,000.

Day 3: Ghangaria to Hemkund Sahib to Ghangaria (12 km round trip)

Start 5 AM, summit by 10 AM, return by 3 PM.

Day 4: Ghangaria to Valley of Flowers (optional)

4 km one-way. Extend or skip.

Day 5: Back to Govindghat + drive to Rishikesh

Gurudwara Darshan
